ABOUT Me
Hi, I’m Therese, an integrative psychotherapist and sex therapist based in Barcelona. I work with individuals and couples who are navigating trauma, relationship challenges, difficult emotions, or patterns in life that no longer feel sustainable. My aim is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you can slow down, feel seen and accepted as you are, and explore your inner world without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
I do this work because I am endlessly inspired by the beautiful complexity of human beings. Each of us carries many parts, some bright, some shadowed, some wounded, and I believe that true healing and transformation come from meeting all of ourselves with curiosity, compassion, and acceptance. Working with people in this way is a privilege, and it reminds me every day how resilient, nuanced, and courageous we are.
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based approaches, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and EMDR. I focus on the connection between emotions, body, thoughts, and relational history, helping people explore patterns that shape their experiences and gradually build greater clarity, emotional regulation, and freedom of choice.
In couples therapy, I support partners in rebuilding emotional safety and connection, and in sex therapy, I provide a sex-positive, non-judgmental space to explore intimacy, desire, shame, and sexual identity. Across all work, my goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, embrace your whole self, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life and relationships.

Internal family systems therapy (IFS)
IFS is a compassionate, evidence-informed approach that helps you explore and understand the different parts of yourself. By connecting with and integrating these parts, you can release old patterns, increase self-awareness, and create emotional balance.

EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps process distressing memories safely. It reduces the emotional intensity of past experiences and supports greater presence, resilience, and clarity.

Emotion focused couples therapy
EFT strengthens emotional bonds and rebuilds trust in relationships. Couples learn to understand their patterns, express emotions openly, and respond to each other with empathy for deeper connection and lasting change.
